Full Scholarship for full-time students program
The GERI Ph.D. in Education Administration program is a full-time student program. Full scholarships are provided to students who study and conduct research full-time. This program is conducted in Korean, and applicants are required to have a TOPIK level 4 score when applying, as well as exceptional master's and bachelor's grades.

Teaching and research opportunity
Students participating in the Ph.D. in Education Administration program have the opportunity to work as researchers at GERI. Depending on the research project they are involved in, students can receive research grants. The research areas include International Education, Education Policy, International Student Mobility, and International Education Programming.

GERI is preparing to launch short-term Korean language courses in collaboration with aSSIST University, located in the heart of Seoul. Starting from the summer semester of 2024, we will offer students an excellent opportunity to experience K-pop and Korean culture alongside their short-term Korean language studies

Short-term Program Korean Learning
During the summer and winter breaks, our short-term language courses run for one month, with 3 hours of Korean language classes per day, totaling 15 hours of instruction per week. Classes are divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels to cater to students' Korean language proficiency.

Short-term Program
Cultural Experience
For the one-month short-term language course, after morning Korean language classes, students have lunch, and then there is a daily Korean cultural experience program in the afternoon. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to experience K-pop at a K-pop agency, visit global companies like Samsung and Hyundai, and explore both traditional and modern aspects of Korean culture and trends.

GERI Korean Language Honor Program
The GERI Korean Language Honor Program is designed for students who have studied Korean up to TOPIK levels 1-2, allowing them to receive education and coaching to achieve TOPIK level 4. This program also includes 1:1 coaching, enabling students to directly enter their first year at Korean universities and top-tier universities.
